Available Supplemental Positions for the 2026-2027 School Year: Head Varsity Softball Coach
(Varsity Head Coaching Experience Preferred) The Head Varsity Softball Coach will oversee the entire softball program and work collaboratively with the athletic department to promote consistency and continued development within the program. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong leadership, foster positive relationships, and be committed to the development and growth of student-athletes both on and off the field.
Qualifications: Prior softball coaching or playing experience is preferred. Strong communication and motivational skills for junior high students. Ability to pass required background checks and obtain state coaching permits. Prior head coaching experience is preferred but not required.
Responsibilities: Oversee all aspects of the softball program, including pre-season and off-season activities, in-season practices, games, and player development. Monitor and support student-athletes’ academic progress. Provide guidance on college recruiting and athletic advancement. Manage fundraising initiatives, camps/clinics, team events, and community engagement. Supervise and collaborate with coaching staff to ensure program success.
Program Overview:The Sandy Valley Softball program has captured three League Championships, 10 District Championships, and an impressive 21 Sectional Championships. Sandy Valley reached the pinnacle of Ohio high school softball in 2009, earning both a Regional Championship and a Final Four appearance.

Available Classified Positions for the 2026-2027 School Year:
BUS DRIVER Based on a 188-day contract, 6.5 hrs.
This route is on a wheelchair accessible special needs bus.
The driver must be trained and have the physical ability to frequently climb
in and out of the bus and operate the wheelchair lift in all weather.
They must also be able to fasten down the wheelchair restraint systems inside the bus.
