2023 Cardinals for a Cure
Sandy Valley Volleyball is hosting the annual “Cardinals for a Cure” match on Monday, October 2nd starting at 5 p.m. This is our 17th year supporting this great cause!!! Our goal is to always pack the stands with PINK so we invite you to join us on October 2nd in the fight against breast cancer.
Donations will be made to the Josette Beddell Memorial Foundation and the Michelle Morris Wilson Memorial Scholarship. The Josette Beddell Memorial Foundation is rooted in the ideals of Josette Beddell, who lived her life working to better her community and always giving a helping hand by offering financial assistance to women and families in Ohio affected by breast cancer. Michelle Morris Wilson was a 1993 Sandy Valley graduate who dedicated her life to teaching. Michelle was special to everyone she met, and she always found the good in everything and everyone around her. The Michelle Morris Wilson Memorial Scholarship goes to Sandy Valley seniors who will continue their education at college or in trade school.
Sandy Valley Volleyball is still accepting donations of gift cards/certificates, baskets for our raffle, or monetary donations to go directly to the foundations. Donations can be made through an SV volleyball player or one of the contacts listed at the bottom of the page. We will be happy to pick up any donations or you may drop them off at the Sandy Valley High School office.
All businesses and individuals who make a contribution will be recognized via announcements at the event and on all print materials.
