COVID-19 Fact Sheet K-12 School Quarantine Guidelines updated 12/30/2020

On September 3, 2020, the Director's Order of the Ohio Department of Health (ODH) requires that all K-12 schools maintain a reporting system for parents to report positive tests and/or cases of COVID-19, as well as maintain a reporting system for parents to be made aware of positive cases within the school setting.

Effective September 8, 2020, parents or guardians of students and school staff members who have been diagnosed with COVID-19 by the test are encouraged to notify their school no later than 24 hours after receiving the confirmed diagnosis.

Please call our school nurse, Mrs. Leopold, at 330-866-9225 ext. 1810 to report cases.

Within 24 hours of becoming aware of a student, teacher, staff member, or coach who has tested positive or been diagnosed with COVID-19, the school will call and email a letter to parents or guardians of students who have shared a classroom or have participated in a school activity with the student or staff member during the COVID-19 infectious period of a student, teacher, staff member, or coach.  For this reason, it is CRITICAL that parents have updated all contact information with the district.   Stay safe and healthy, Cardinals!
