• SVAA Finance Committee

    Our purpose is to provide review and oversight to the financial accounts, including the endowment fund of SVAA. 

     Members:  Rosanne Bennett (Chair), Janine Garber, Rock VanFossen, Mike Lancaster, John Ionno, and Travis Boyd.

     Partnership with Stark Community Foundation

    In late 2012, SVAA partnered with the Stark Community Foundation (SCF) to start the SVAA Endowment Fund. 

     The SVAA Endowment Fund began with $25,000 accumulated primarily through the Golden Alumni Scholarship Fundraising Drives from the Classes of 1955 to 1962 and memorial contributions. 

     The fund ended 2013 with a balance of $40,909.92, which includes an additional $10,000 contribution under a program offered by the SCF.  Funds earned from the endowment fund will be used to fund scholarships.

    Gifts to the Alumni Association can be done in a variety of forms, including:

    • Stocks & Bonds.
    • Real Estate. 
    • Retirement Assets.
    • Insurance. 
    • IRA Rollover.
