Updated: Sandy Valley Local Schools is pleased to be able to offer FREE lunches for all children up to age 18 weekdays throughout the summer. The initiative is part of a grant entitled "Seamless Summer" which provides children free lunches. Sandy Valley will offer the lunches at three locations. Lunches are available weekdays from 10 a.m. until 12 p.m. Lunches will not be served on July 4th and July 5th.

The locations for the FREE lunches are: St. James Church Pavilion, Stark Library Sandy Valley Branch and Sandy Valley Estates.

There is no paperwork to fill out and children do not have to be in the SV district to participate. However, the lunches are on a first-come, first-serve basis. The FREE lunches available DAILY at each location are: 50 at the library, 50 at Saint James church, 100 at Sandy Valley Estates and 100 at SVHS. Lunches typically will include a sandwich, fruit, vegetable and chips. The FREE lunch menu for June is below.

A special thanks to Tina Kindelberger, Emilee Humphrey and Doug Neading for their efforts in helping provide FREE lunches to children in our Sandy Valley community.
